oscareczekhi, so I had problems from the start - both devuan_chimaera_4.0.0_arm64_rpi4.img.zip and rpi-4-devuan-chimaera-5.10.110-v8-ext4-2022-07-11.zip didn't boot, it started booting after taking /boot from https://cdimage.debian.org/images/unofficial/raspi/tested/20220121_raspi_4_bullseye.img.xz. now the question is - how to upgrade kernel? I have raspberrypi-linux-image "installed" by default (except20:52
oscareczekit isn't in /boot), there's also a package called raspi-firmware, that expects FAT partition mounted as /boot/firmware as opposed to the fstab default of /boot20:52
c0rneliusThat img has an older kernel on it and I'm pretty sure there is something or was something wrong with that branch. Not even sure why they are building imgs with that?21:04
c0rneliusIf you wanna run devuan look for an img with 5.15.y installed.21:05
oscareczekbut 5.10.92 from Debian works just fine21:06
c0rneliusrun that then21:08
oscareczekyeah, as I said, what do I do afterwards? security fixes are cool and all21:08
c0rneliusbeats me. the devuan imgs aren't setup to run that kernel.21:09
c0rneliusin a normal case scenario you would use `fetch -u` or `menu-config` to update the kernel. But now that you have made that adjustment I would suspect thats not a great idea.21:10
oscareczekso I decided to be brave and do `fetch -1` and once I specified the correct files in config.txt, it started working22:50
steevfortune favors the brave23:07
