| mglbg[m] | Not sure if this helps or only stirrs things up but I made an additional keymap in /usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/nokia_vndr/rx-51 called "custom" and added " setxkbmap -rules evdev -model nokiarx51 -option grp:ctrl_shift_toggle -layout us,custom " to my .bashrc, basically allowing to switch keyboard on pressing ctrl+shift.
