Oksanabrolin_empey: How are you going with this USB hub from Qicent?03:50
OksanaIs it this hub? http://qicent.cc/goods.php?id=565704:06
brolin_empeyOksana: How am I going?  It is not that model, it is the AH10P-US-BK, which I bought from Qicent Direct on Amazon.ca in December.11:07

infobotextra, extra, read all about it, usbfix is http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=75920 - and **NEVER** use epoxy (unless you want to seal your device for underwater), or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fYz5nIHH0iY#t=1866, you will basically need two irons: a small good one (or better hot-air reflow) and a 60+ Watt, or to avoid breakage, see ~usb-unplug12:08
brolin_empeyThat makes me wonder: does a through-hole-mounted USB Type C connector exist or are USB Type C connectors usually only surface-mounted, like the microUSB connector on the Nokia N900 motherboard?12:41

brolin_empeybencoh: OK, so at least one company makes a through-hole-mounted USB Type C connector.  Interesting.15:59
bencohI suppose there are more :)15:59

brolin_empeyHeh, apparently Firefox is the only PDF viewer I have on my office computer out of all of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, Vivaldi, an old version of Okular but whose age usually seems to not matter, Firefox that can actually highlight all occurrences (spelling?) of the search term.  My use case in this case is trying to find all purchases from Safeway on my most recent credit card statement to determine how much money I spent on groceries last month, which seems18:21
brolin_empeylike a common use case.18:21
