xesDocScrutinizer05: :) hi Doc!00:12

DocScrutinizer05undeletable emails00:19
DocScrutinizer05and of course this breaks archiving all emails in bulk as well00:21
DocScrutinizer05so I can't archive emails to nuke the complete app and dirs and rogue emails, and I can't delete emails to enable archiving00:22
Halftuxfreemangordon: I don't know the role of libsoup for qyoutube there is also no dependency and I could not find the source code, why is libsoup package not in cssu?11:11
bencohlibsoup is needed for http(s) iirc11:11
bencohnot sure whether qyoutube uses it to retrieve video metadata, but it should at least be used by video player11:12
Halftuxyes this I know but you don't need it for compile qyoutube somewhere I read in irc that it uses libsoup through qt but it is also not linked with qt the only thing I can imagine is gstreamer11:14
bencohqt uses gstreamer to play video, yeah11:15
Halftuxah ok thx11:15
bencoh(and the gstreamer http source module uses libgsoup, as you already gathered)11:16
bencohlibsoup*11:16
Halftuxso cutetube2 recompiled with QSsl::SecureProtocols instead of TlsV1 does search and find videos with libqt4-network13:20
Halftuxcssu1513:21
Halftuxso we need to activate TlsV1 in qt again and redirect to secureprotocols13:22
Halftuxit would be nice to update gnutls to support higher tls versions13:24
sicelonice work! thanks.13:28
siceloperhaps please recompile cutenews as well for us :)13:28
Halftuxno better to patch qt no recompilation is then needed13:29
Halftuxhopefully13:29
sicelocssu16 ;)13:30
Halftuxyes :)13:31
freemangordonHalftux: as bencoh pointed libsoup is needed by gstreamer (GstHttpSource), which is used by QtMultimedia module (iirc)18:07
Halftuxfreemangordon: and source is from squeeze and not modified?19:15
sixwheeledbeastHow did I not know about Ctrl+R in bash until now...21:58
sicelo:22:05
sicelo:)22:05
ginggssicelo stares emotionlessly, and then smiles22:43
sixwheeledbeastIts such a useful thing how has it not been mentioned before.22:47
inzsixwheeledbeast, for the longest time I only experienced it accidentally and was very annoyed by it22:54
inzsixwheeledbeast, similarily as alt+numbers -repeat22:55
sicelosixwheeledbeast: i'm guessing you did know about it at some point, but maybe just never used it, and eventually totally forgot about it. it was one of the first things i learned when i started using linux22:55
sixwheeledbeastno never came across it at all22:55
sicelointeresting22:56
siceloinz: alt+numbers -repeat .. what does that do?22:56
inzsicelo, hold alt down and type in some number n, after releasing alt, the next key you press will be repeated n times22:57
siceloi'm using i3, and alt is my meta ;) but will test this out soon22:58
inzI'm using win-key with dwm, so alt stays unoccupied22:59
sicelothinkpad x40 doesn't have win-key :(22:59
inzThat would be a bit of a hinderance :)23:01
inzFor some weird reason, my P52s has print screen where I would expect for the "context menu" key to be23:02
sicelonice machine (P52s)!23:06
inzNot very mobile, but I rarely take it out for a walk23:08
